Home, What Is Lupus?

Lupus Awareness- Day 14

Lupus also tends to “bring along” other autoimmune diseases. While it has not been determined that lupus causes the other autoimmune conditions to develop, many lupus patients seem predisposed to multiple conditions such as: Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Antiphospholipid syndrome, Crohn’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Sjögren’s syndrome.

I know this to be true.

I have become acquainted with so many individuals here on this blogging forum as well as in person from all walks of life. And it’s never a cut and dry situation. No one individual I’ve come in contact with has solely been affected by lupus, but it has been lupus and something else.

A good friend of mine suffers from lupus and Fibromyalgia, a few of you have lupus and Sjogren’s and I, myself have lupus and RA.

Get to KNOW LUPUS and all of it’s connective illnesses!
